Overview and Purpose
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) guides the implementation and documentation of the institutional effectiveness process. The main purpose of the office is to serve AUM's senior academic and administrative officers by providing an effective analytical framework for planning and improvement. 国产偷拍视频The Office of Institutional Effectiveness is comprised of four primary branches, with one staff member assigned to oversee the activities within each branch:
Oversees and collects data related to student achievement, student engagement, and student and partner satisfaction. Information provided on the Assessment link includes reports related to National Survey of Student Engagement, Noel Levitz Survey and report, Collegiate Assessment of Academic Proficiency, and the University’s Annual Assessment System.
Provides data, often collected through Institutional Research, and submits information to external agencies. In addition, this branch manages teaching effectiveness, or Curtiss Course Critiques (by Iota). Reports completed through this branch include the following: School-specific US News reports, College Board Survey, America’s Best Colleges, and Princeton Review.
Oversees the collection, analysis, and reporting of university-wide data. Reports completed and maintained by this branch include the following: Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), Alabama Commission on Higher Education (ACHE), EBO Smart Planning, College and University Professional Association (CUPA), Knight Settlement Report, Delaware Study, Common Data Set, and others. Records regarding student enrollment (by ethnicity, level, etc.), credit hour production, and degrees awarded are also provided by this branch of OIE.
Auburn University at Montgomery is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award baccalaureate, masters, educational specialist and doctoral degrees.
